What Are My New Year's Resolutions?


Well isn't that a jolly good question and quite a difficult one too. New Years Resolutions have been around for quite some time now and too be honest I'm not 100% sure who actually sticks to them. Like maybe for the first month when you're thinking "yes I can do it, I'll wake up at 6 and go for a 5 mile jog" and then you begin to realise that you'd rather sleep for the rest of the year and wait to make the same resolutions for 2017. Or when you say to yourself "Sumayyah, you need to get into shape!", but what shape are we really talking about? A melting pumpkin :( (JIMMY FALLON REFERENCE) Well I've decided that I'm actually going to make some of my own this year and maybe HOPEFULLY carry them out for as long of a time period as I can - preferably in a year's time. 01/01.17 So if you'd like to know what my new year's resolutions are supposed to be, then please keep on reading and enjoy laughing at me. 




1. TO IMPROVE MY BLOG A.K.A MACAROONS MAKEUP & ME :)

   - Write more.
   - Take more professional looking pictures.
   - Upload more relevant + requested content. 
   - Socialise with other bloggers and get noticed (stupid, but it's gotta be done)
   - Build up my social media platforms (Links will be at the bottom + are on the side bar)

2. EAT MORE FRUIT AND LESS JUNK!

   - I'm going to push myself to eat 3-a-day and TRUST ME, that's like forcing a kid who's allergic to nuts, to eat nuts.
   - By less JUNK, I mean when my family decides to order Roosters, I'm not going to give in and eat with them, however much I want to and usually I like to stuff my face at 6pm as a snack, and I'M NOT GOING TO. 

3. STUDY! STUDY! STUDY!

   - Now that I'm in year 10 (already started GCSEs) I definitely need not to procrastinate and to actually put my head down when I need to and do some work, whether that be doing homework the day I get it or studying a good amount of time before I have an exam. 
   - P.S I'm kind of already not doing ^^^^, as I've had a science exam paper for homework for the last two weeks, and I've barely touched it. BUT oh well, technically after this post is up, it all counts. 

4. DEDICATE MORE TIME TO NETBALL.

   - So I've been playing netball for the last 8 years but I only started playing for the club Croft, more than a year ago. Last year I missed a lot of training sessions due to not being able to get lifts etc and I also missed a lot of matches because of ____ and _________. This year I'm going to try to play more and be a better team player.
   - Also I would like to improve on my skills.

5. REIN IN MY EMOTIONS, BEHAVIOUR AND ATTITUDE!

   - Emotions: I need to get less emotional and not take stupid, petty things to heart (like I always do)
   - Behaviour: I need to be nicer to people, so basically my family and others around me.
   - Attitude: I need to be less rude to people and not snap at them for whatever reason EVEN IF they have pissed me off 5438338362%.  
I think that at the moment, I'm good with setting 5 resolutions because I don't wanna get ahead of myself and go overboard. I wonder if I'll barely be able to keep up with these. But even if I can't I hope you all enjoy laughing at me at the end of the year when I write a post on if I kept these or not.
